Spoon Sports baffled oil pans are comprised of two components - a unused genuine Honda oil pan, and a pre-installed Spoon Sports baffle. The baffle is designed to prevent oil pressure fluctuation by keeping the pickup submerged in oil even in high G environments. Oil sloshing away from the pickup can lead to cavitation in the oil supply to the head - which is a common cause of irreparable damage to engine internals. The OEM Honda oil pan guarantees perfect fitment.
