スプーンは従来のスロットルボディーを見直しテストを重ね、より高い効果の得られる製品としてベンチュリービックスロットルボディーを開発しました。製品の特徴はスロットルボディー内面をベンチュリー形状としてより充填効率を上げ、また同時に内面粗度は鏡面仕上げとする為にダイヤモンド切削加工法を特徴に、極限まで吸入抵抗を減らしました。さらに大径バタフライを採用し、バタフライは斜断面で楕円形状を採用して、耐久性は純正同等を確保しています。
Spoon Sports repeatedly studied and tested the stock Honda throttle body and realized that improvements could be made. The Venturi Big Throttle Body is the result, by boring out the inner surface, a venturi effect could be created - raising the velocity of intake air. Furthermore, the inner surface has been smoothed out by a diamond cutting method - which reduces resistance. Finally a larger butterfly plate replaces the stock plate - the elliptical shape in an oblique cross section ensures that durability and reliability matches the OEM counterpart.
